Jennifer's grooming journey began at the Nash Academy, where she honed her skills under the tutelage of renowned grooming experts. Her innate talent, combined with a relentless pursuit of perfection, soon earned her recognition as one of the academy's most promising graduates. 

 

Jennifer's prowess in the grooming arena quickly became evident as she accumulated many accolades in various grooming competitions. Her artistry and attention to detail set her apart, securing her multiple awards in national and international grooming competitions.

 

As the captain of the Virginia State Grooming Team for live dogs, Jennifer led her team to victory at the IJA Groom Bowl, where she showcased her ability to motivate and lead in a competitive environment. Jennifer secured first place in freestyle and terriers, along with the prestigious Best All-Around Groomer title, further cementing her reputation as a true grooming virtuoso. 

 

Jennifer accepted the challenge to be part of the first  IJA USA International Model Dog Competition Team, where she continued helping her team take the highest honors in the industry in Taiwan with Best in Show in Pure Breeds and Creative Competitions. 

 

Jennifer's passion for sharing her expertise extends beyond competitions and into education. As a revered teacher and speaker, she offers workshops and demonstrations, empowering groomers worldwide with the knowledge and techniques to elevate their craft.

 

As a certified instructor of the Nash Academy and the Nash System of Pet Care Education, Jennifer inspires the next generation of grooming talent to achieve greatness in the profession. 

 

Outside the grooming arena, Jennifer is the proud owner-operator of a highly successful grooming salon, known for its top-notch services and devoted clientele. Additionally, she runs Astyanax Poodles, a reputable breeding program that produces champion-quality poodles in all three varieties. 

 

As a skilled handler, Jennifer has guided numerous dogs to champion titles. In 2020, she achieved remarkable success by handling the number one and seventh Poodle of the Year in UKC competitions. Her triumphs continued in 2021, where she handled the number two, three, and seven poodles of the year, further solidifying her position as an esteemed handler in the dog show circuit. Jennifer's journey is adorned with multiple Best In Show and Reserve Best in Show awards, a testament to her exceptional bond with dogs and ability to showcase their best qualities.
